The Spam Thread!
Busy with several stuff. Also got a little sick in the process.

Also, it happened again. Another weird videogame related nightmare.

This time I dreamt I was Axton, and Handsome Jack wanted to kill me so he could take my My Little Pony collection ;.;

Long story short, this is easiest the weirdest nightmare since the Fallout 3 + Doctor Who crossover one, where I was running from weeping angels in a nuked Klang town :/

Maybe I should stop playing this as well...

Even though we participated in the anti-SOPA protests over a year ago, I still had my doubts about it. SOPA is dead (for now), but I always thought people were making SOPA as some sort of end-of-the-WWW-as-we-know-it type of affair with graphic design to instill fear into people.

Now, don't get me wrong, I wasn't a SOPA supporter, and I knew that because of how broad it was worded, it could be abused to actually facilitate censoring other peoples opinions with false copyright claims. But all the sites made it seem that if the bill was passed, sites would be instantly censored like they would be in China and Iran... and China and Iran only use a SOPA-like system to censor opinion not in-line with their governments.

To keep my ramble short, here is an interesting article I found from an independent blogger. Tell me what you think about it...

Though in retrospect, it appears SOPA could have done a lot of damage nonetheless, even if the censorship fears weren't realized. I just remembered that an entire site could come down because of one copyrighted claim. Sad No YouTube as we know it.

I wonder if that is where they got the censorship idea from? By blocking an entire website to the public, even if some go there for legitimate activities?

I really need to stop thinking too much about these things.

I have no clear, sure idea about the matter, and I'd rather stick with 'Ignorance is bliss'. Thinking too much about it will just bring harm to our mind.

In other news, this morning I found my car vandalized with spray paint. It took me a whole (small) bottle of nail polish remover to wipe them off. Remnants still remain, but at least no longer visible unless I stare at the car from close distance.

I hope they didn't spraypaint any offensive words on your car. Sad Good thing is that you got most of that stuff removed.

In other news... I just downloaded my first ever DLC.... three "Coin Rush" course packs for "New Super Mario Bros 2". These should help me get to that coveted 1 million coin mark.

I feel your pain Sad There are idiots like that over here in Malaysia too. And ours can be worse- you can wake up one day and find that your car's tires have been stolen and it's only held up by bricks. Or worse, some idiot decides to splash a bucket of acid on your car. Luckily I always keep my car in my house compound, but it's that bad over here too.

Just random graffiti. No legible words or such.

That's very harsh. If I lived over there my household would certainly own no more cars than the house garage can contain. Yeah, my household has 4 cars because of necessity while the garage can only contain two. Therefore the least luxurious ones stay outside.

This is the vandalized car by the way (Generation 4):

Just when you thought it was over.... parts of SOPA live on. I don't like thinking about SOPA (and I shouldn't), but take a look at this...

This I believe full stop... in short, streaming copyrighted stuff on YouTube could become a felony if congress gets their way. Throw in possible censorship as well.

Change the damn business model, that's what I can say. It's the artificial inaccessibility by the big media that's shooting themselves in the foot. Sure, there are people in the industry who worked real hard to bring up a movie or two, but that doesn't mean you have to be heavy-handed at P2P.

+1. Also, remove region coding. Region coding is stupid and counterintuitive (what? You don't want my money just because I'm not American? Idiots).
