The Spam Thread!
Meanwhile, here Muslims have no days off for their holidays. Very unfair.

I don't want to sound like I'm clamoring for attention, but does anyone here read the rants that I post?

I mainly posted this rant to see how people would react to my ideas, but it appears no one read it. Sad

At least Muslims there aren't forced against their will to fast during Ramadan...
The Best Medicine > Magic. Because SCIENCE! can prove the former.

Sorry about that. I often get discouraged whenever I see a long wall of text.

The main point is about FB going to have ads similar to YT, right? Well, that sucks. I always get annoyed whenever the video I want to watch on YT has to be preceded by an ad, either unskippable 16 seconds or skippable 3 mins (Even the skippable ones already waste about 7 seconds). I don't know about you, but in my place sometimes there are ads which is unskippable and last 30 seconds.

But ah well, what can we do anyway? I don't think the money-driven ones up there will care any bit.

Well, I can live with ads on YouTube since without them, we would have to pay to watch stuff there. The main gist is where how advertisers are coming up with more consumer unfriendly ways to shove ads right in your face when browsing websites, and how I think a little regulation from government could work without becoming full fledged censorship.

Perhaps in the future I need to cut down on my walls of text and just get the main points across without rambling.

Anyway, I have more exciting news in the next post...

Bad Flash FTW!

Meet my new Game Boy Advance I just acquired today. The color doesn't come out too well due to the flash, but it's the Indigo blue color. Unfortunately, I couldn't get any GBA games along with it due to cost reasons, but I did get one GB game... "Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins".

I also scored a Nyko Worm Light too. I can use it with the GBA or Larry since they use the same EXT slot.

As for a name... haven't decided yet. Tongue

Is that GBA second hand? I don't think a new one would have scratch marks on the screen. But then again, the scratch marks form a circular shape around the flash, so that might be just light reflection.

Second hand. The scratch marks are somewhat minor, and only show up when you shine a light at the right angle. They don't affect viewing of the screen directly. Nothing major... just what you normally would see in a used GBA like this.

I was able to see the unit up close at a video game store yesterday. It works great and the controls are still responsive, but it does show signs of use. It's equivalent to Larry, so I decided to go for it rather than spend $100+ USD on a new unit. I would have preferred a new unit, but only if I bought a GBA online since eBay can be very unpredictable and you normally can't see the used unit up close like you can at a retro video game store.

Here is a better picture with worm light in action:
