Above is that new MP4 player I bought at Kmart yesterday, along with my new digital camera bag, but I digress. It looks like a very very small Android tablet, but alas, it's not. It's a "Visual Land" branded touch screen player called the "Phantom". Based on the manual and my own observations, it runs some sort of custom operating system built on Adobe Flash. Among the features are music playback of MP3, OGG and other audio formats, along with HD video support as well. You can load videos on to the device without conversion.

Oh, and 8gb of built in flash memory too.

But, is it worthy replacement to the original Pinch?

I still have to test this in full, in regards to FM radio and battery life.

Went to dentist today. Turned out my mouth was a tartar haven. All the cleaning was painful, but worth it.

No. We're still in New York state, but a distance from New York City. We're on the American border of Lake Ontario. If we hopped on a boat and went ahead for some time under an hour, we'd be in Canada.

Wonder if I can do that in iMovie. On the other hand, loading FLV videos without converting...

Also, why does the Japanese release have Jewelpets while the English export replaced Ruby (said Jewelpet) with Hello Kitty? And why is Hello Kitty holding a spatula when she's going to cook using a pot? Ruby holding a scoop makes more sense!

You can't even go to a movie these days without someone going nuts and shooting at the crowd.

In short, a deadly shooting happened in Colorado in the wee hours of the morning, during a showing of "The Dark Knight Rises".

It's all over CNN and stuff, so I'll leave things at that.

You may notice my new avatar. It actually comes from a cute jumbo workbook I found at WalMart: "BIG Workbook: Preschool". It has lots of cute illustrations, and I found the Rabbit on the Rocket among them.

So I scanned that illustration and made it my new avatar.

As for Pinch v2, I shall post a complete review in the Computer forums.
