Sandy, what kinds of PS3 games are you interested in getting?
I don't mean to sound rude or pushy, but you didn't answer my questions above.
EDIT: Alright, I was trying a different IM application, Trillian, because with the official Yahoo Messenger, there is no way to prevent the main YM window from appearing whenever it signs on in the background, such as when I wake up Greta from sleep. It's annoying to say the least, so I decided to try Trillian.
Trillian was fine....until about 30 minutes ago. I signed in, and for some reason, none of my Yahoo or Facebook contacts that I added during initial setup no longer appeared at all. I looked in the settings, and it looked as if I never added them in the first place, even though I did so!!
The best part about Trillian is that whenever it signed back on in the background, it always stayed hidden and didn't force it's way on your desktop.
Does anyone here know of any other multi-protocol IM client besides Pidgin?

I just bought a 250GB one, with CFW so I won't go online. I mainly want God of War 3 and Dynasty Warrior 7, but quite a number of other titles are fine.

I decided to give Trillian a second chance....
And...we should schedule some sort of group chat in our chatroom again. It's been ages.

In short, a deadly shooting happened in Colorado in the wee hours of the morning, during a showing of "The Dark Knight Rises".
It's all over CNN and stuff, so I'll leave things at that.
Yeah, and the inevitable happened in the media. (Someone in the media said he must be autistic. That always follows mass murders in the United States, Canada, and most European countries, regardless of zero evidence.)
There have been good responses, though, like this one.
I would say "in lighter news" if I had lighter news to give. My asthma combined with bad heat and female problems caused me to become disoriented while doing errands outside yesterday, so I went into a shop to rest. The employees called the police, and let me tell you, New York police are rarely if ever your friends. They don't do their jobs when they need to and are overzealous when not necessary. Apparently being sick warrants the police forcing you to come with them. And having kids with you - not all the kids were with me at the time, half were - means you brought the kids in to steal candy bars. Because they were looking at the candy bars, and you said they could have some, but you didn't buy any because you were too winded. That means you were stealing despite not taking any. Because not all the kids are white, and apparently it was racism time in addition to discrimination-against-sick-and-disabled time.
"I just want to take us home. I can get better at home. We are two miles from home. Can't you take me there if you don't want me going by myself?"
No, no, we're going to take you several more miles from your home into a hospital where you get to sit for hours in a waiting room ignored with people who wouldn't care if you fainted on the floor from dehydration and asthma! Let's not let you go home even though your husband is there, waiting and wanting to take care of you! We are police officers and we are [strike]bored sadists looking for prey[/strike] doing this because... we say so!
-.-
The officers eventually got bored in the waiting room and left, at which point I checked myself out without ever being checked on by a medical person and went home. Now I have scars from where the police needlessly poked me with needles and restrained me! That is not how you handle exhausted people, and I was very clearly exhausted instead of drunk or something. Gah.

I also have Super Street Fighter IV AE, Wipeout HD + Fury expansion pack, and StarStrike HD. I also got this weird Indian game called "The Last Guy" for free back when the PSN got hacked and Sony gave out two free games to everyone as an apology (Sony should've offered LittleBigPlanet like in the US instead. This game is poorly translated! It's in Tamil with only English subtitles!).

I hate to imagine what they'd do to adults riding a coin operated horsie ride in front of one of them stores.

That sounds terrible. Next time you better not go out alone, and I said alone means being the only adult.

Turn off night shadows, set view and detail distances to 1, reflections to low or medium, and water to low. Very High shadows are a no-no on GTA4 v1.0.7.0.

only 40FPS with SLI clearly enabled (forced onto the game whether it likes it or not). Still looks pretty smooth tho.
However, forcing SLI onto the game makes it only see 1GB, or the memory of only one card.
Edit: It seems that no matter what setting I use, the game will only give me 40fps max....
