US$20 is a lot....

Not as much as Starcraft II, but still a lot...

And, the internets over here has been crap over the last few days- Apple's servers are slow, keeps breaking up while downloading updates, even though Debian and Ubuntu updates come down fine. I don't think I'd be able to download a 4GB update properly, it was already choking up with the iTunes update yesterday.

That explains why my friend's Java update kept on acting up upon downloading.

True, but it's still cheap compared to previous OSX upgrades. And, I will indeed have $20 around the time it comes out.

Oh, in other news...

I recently got a $10 game from WalMart called "Play 101 Games", from Viva Media. It has 101 full version casual games on it, sourced from the Alawar Entertainment library of games. Alawar is a Russian company, thus, most of the games in the collection come from Russia or former Soviet countries. But, I digress...

One of the games that I have been playing one game lately is called "Finding Doggy". All I'll say is that it's a great match-3-or-more game that has the potential to give you massive amounts of points. Tongue

Other games of interest are two breakout clones, "Action Ball 2" and "Strike Ball 3". Both use 3D graphics, and what makes "Strike Ball 3" great is that it uses Physx...and Greta's GeForce 610m has hardware Physx capability. Smile

As a result of my new game collection, Wendell now has games too. Previously, I had a smaller casual game collection called "Play!", which had only about 20 or 25 games. I purchased "Play!" from WalMart about two years ago for $20. Turns out, the new "Play 101" has duplicates of games that were already on the older "Play!" disc. I just installed the "Play!" duplicates collection on Wendell.

I'm alive! My mental health took a nose dive, but love and drugs fixed me.

Of course, it figures that my allergies to climate changes kicked in as soon as I recovered.

When am I going to get to enjoy New York?

I'd think it was the pollution, not the climate change.

That probably contributed, too.

I hope it's alright to ask Grapes, but what made you decide to go to (exciting!) NYC instead of Indiana?

NYC is more exciting though. I hope that one day I can go to NYC because South Dakota can get boring sometimes....especially in a small town like mine.

Took back my old Acer AL1716 from my aunt. And at the same time recommissioned an old pair of Altec-Lansings I had in storage.

Because my Viewsonic VA905 formed some dead pixels on the screen. Not sure if it can be repaired.

Can't use a AL1716W I had because apparently ATI Rage Pro and S3 Savage3D cards can't handle widescreen resolutions :/

This Monday, I will visit my ex-lecturer. He's as old as my grandmother, and he has health problem with hypertension. I haven't seen him in about 8 months, and not too long ago I dreamed that he's... gone.

I just hope my dream was wrong.
