Im seriously thinking about adopting my Polar Bear Lil'Kinz plush....since Webkinz is a virtual pet, it would teach me responsibility and perhaps, maybe, learn to stop procrastinating so much.
I thought you said you didn't like online games :?:

In any case, I don't Tongue I already have enough things bogging me down.

I normally don't, but Webkinz may be an exception. The type of online gaming I don't like is on Wii/Xbox. Posting scores? Sure, I can do that, but joining a tournament with four or eight other players from around the world? Maybe not. Who knows how aggressive the others can be to the "newbie".

Well, in that case, exempt friendly online gaming like Animal Crossing then. Since the reason people visit your town or you visit others' is to help out.

Plus, as long as you don't simply add strangers to your Animal Crossing list, you can be sure only people you know comes by, and only if you allow them to by opening the town gate.

I'm not really a fan of MMOs, either. Although I do have an Innerstar University account (which typically comes free with every purchase of a My American Girl doll, but since a generous bud gave a code for free, well, you know), and I did try several other Korean and w/e RPGs just for the lulz.

Oh, bringing up Webkinz makes me a little sad. I had a Webkinz snake whom I lost due to moving. Whatever happened, I feel guilty for losing the cute little plush.

Mind you, I bought and lost the snake in 2008. Webkinz has no doubt changed since then. The snake has since been retired, so I couldn't buy an unused replacement. I don't think I'd want a replacement, anyway, not after seeing Toy Story 3. (Apparently, replaced toys find their lost owners, and then said toys turn evil because they are sad and angry about being replaced. Heh.)

Edit:

It turns out I can buy an unused replacement due to Amazon. Look how much it would cost, though! I know I paid around five dollars originally. Webkinz prices have skyrocketed, especially for their retired animals. Apparently you have to go to the Webkinz Extravaganza at a Hallmark store, which is yearly, to be able to play with a retired Webkinz online. Hm. Well, I am going to try again at finding what I lost first. The people who cleaned out the place I moved from said they didn't see a toy snake, which makes me think someone stole for their kids. I hope that happened as opposed to the poor thing being run over on the road or something equally bad. Cry

A little boy tried to claim my childhood dog right after I bought her.

"Sorry, but a little girl just now bought this dog."
"Little GIRL? This looks like a little BOY'S dog!"

(How a female runt looked like a boy's dog to him, I have no idea.)

Ever since, there has been a reoccurring theme for people to say that my animals, actual or toy, are for boys. You know, on another topic, I think it was partly because of this theme that I assumed I would have more sons. I seem like a mother of sons. Not that I think I'm like my mother or much like the mothers of the fellow members here, but somehow I seem like a mother of sons. I don't know how to explain it. But maybe I'm speaking nonsense resulting of having mostly brothers and male friends and such. Still, I also think James seems like a father of sons. Am I making any sense here or just sounding crazy when I say that James and I seem like parents of sons whereas Ben and Dee seem like parents of daughters?

My intuition had a rare faulty moment when it told me I'd need to adopt a daughter to have one. However, were it not for said faulty intuition, I wouldn't have met my one son!

I'm getting so sick and tired of working on this one scarf. Usually crochet is pretty fast, but this one uses two colors in each row, so the yarn keeps tangling and I have to keep untangling it. If it wasn't a Christmas gift, I would stop it right now (42-ish inches), but it needs to be about twenty inches longer. Granted, I'd probably be done already if I didn't keep stopping to work on other projects, but then, if the pattern wasn't so annoying, I wouldn't need to take breaks from it. Someone told me they would pay real money for one like it, but I don't think I could do it, even for money.

Im doing a rather easy sewing project for my stagecraft final....hopefully it won't be too hard to do. It is from a fabric pattern, an easy one.

Oh, if you find someone named "Wade" commenting on your blog posts, that's me. Smile

Things just got worse.

Now the Malaysian government has decided that they want a larger chunk of my pay outside of the taxes I'm already paying. They're drafting a law that prohibits a person from working in the Computer and Technology field unless they join a government formed body. To join the body, you must adhere to an annual fee, which is probably in tens of thousands of ringgit a year. I can't afford it without giving up my hobbies Sad

Also, the monkeys on TVTropes has removed any indication that MLPFIM is being screwed over by Cartoon Network over here in Malaysia. Now it's apparent that their motive is to trick Hasbro into thinking that we can do without the show.

And my depression is back because of these Sad

I just wish Hasbro would stop dealing with CN and work with Nick Jr instead like they're doing in Eastern Europe. I've had Nick Jr for months and all they have at the moment are crap, it's all old Blues Clues reruns and Dora the Explorer. A few Hasbro shows will no doubt spice up the channel.
