Come on...don't go lurking away for a month. Smile It won't be the same here without you.

You realize actual people care about you, right?

Doesn't that matter more than not having a television channel?

Idk. Everything is going bonkers. First, it was my mom finding out that she has cancer. Now my grandpa had a stroke.

And then there's my own issues i.e. Hasbro lying.

And it's not just any TV channel, it's currently THE TV channel Sad

Unless a miracle happens, I will never ever get to see SSC:BBA and MLP:FIM (well, okay. I might. But given how much trouble and waiting I have to go through for an episode), and possibly the new 2012 Care Bears too Sad

I really cannot see why Hasbro chose them as the broadcasting partner Sad

Ben, who is injured, thinks he can drive again.

We all warned him against driving until at least a few more weeks.

He didn't listen. I said I'd meet him at the hospital.

His car didn't start and won't run, and now he is angry.

"I think that was God saving your life!" I said.

He isn't listening. Oh well. At least God saved his life.

(I am not exactly strict about religious beliefs. I think there is Someone above everything.)

I'm sorry.

I know what it's like for loved ones to have medical emergencies, and I know what it's like to be in medical emergencies, so you certainly have my sympathies there.

Can't you watch your shows online? So many people have uploaded Arthur for years that there are bound to be episodes going over the country restrictions. While Berry Bitty Adventures gets taken down often, I've still managed to find a number of episodes online.

Well, that's the problem. I can't find Arthur Season 15 anywhere, aside from a few "ruined" uploads (i.e. flipped + ugly watermark). Same issues for BBA. I really don't understand what's the deal with removing BBA tho, don't they want the toys to sell?

And well, remember what Malaysia already has internet censorship. Though it's not as tyrannic as SOPA, it's still one of the nastiest because it specifically targets filesharing sites that are commonly used to host TV shows (read: Megaupload) and torrent trackers. Though it's easily bypassed (unless you're on Yes WiMAX, in which bypassing is impossible), bypassing it just doesn't feel right. And oh, I'm stuck with Yes WiMAX during office hours. My alternatives are unusable as of late- cellphones keep losing 3G signal at work.

Hmmm, solid performer with i5-2540 or i7 chipset. The weak point is the GPU- Intel Integrated HD 3000 isn't exactly the best graphics chip in the world, but nontheless is still a solid performer for even 3D as long as you don't play the game at highest detail, and as long as you max out the RAM (see below). According to Fujitsu ( https://sp.ts.fujitsu.com/dmsp/docs/ds- ... k-e751.pdf ), there are a few configurations. Here's my suggestions:
 1. Pick the model with at least the Core i5 2540 CPU. If you need high performance, then pick a Core i7 CPU model. I change my mind, vPro is unnecessary unless you're going to do advanced virtualization. Whether you want a numpad keyboard or not is up to you, but I suggest it if you're going to use the laptop for game.
 2. Buy the 4GB model. But as soon as you make the purchase, ask them to max out the RAM to 8GB by adding a second 4GB RAM module (judging from the spec sheet, it will come with only one RAM slot used with a 4GB RAM module and the other RAM slot empty. Putting in a second RAM module will use the second slot). It adds about 173,555 rupiahs to the cost, but it's well worth it. There are three benefits in this: firstly, 8GB is a must if you're going to play games, since the game can load all it's data to memory and rely less on swap files on the hard disk. This improves performance since hard disk is invariably slower than RAM, and things will be smoother if you load everything to RAM at the start and then ignore the hard disk after that compared to constantly reading the hard disk. Secondly, increasing the RAM also increases the shared video memory quota. At 2GB of RAM, 288MB is shared with graphics. At 4GB, 384MB is shared. At 8GB, 512MB is shared. With 512MB, again the game can support better texture and have more space for graphics calculations, resulting in better 3D performance. Lastly, when using two bars of RAM, the CPU activates Dual Channel Mode. This allows the CPU to access memory faster since it can do independent operations on separate RAM modules compared to with only Single Channel Mode. This in turn improves the CPU response time.
 3. For hard disk, I reckon 320GB is more than enough. Hard disk is upgradable in the future, so you can change it for a bigger one when the needs arises. If you plan to play DOTA or CS, ask for a 7200rpm hard disk- trust me, the 33% increase makes a big difference. Avoid SSD hard disks tho, it's not worth the price at the moment.
 4. Webcam, up to you. I highly recommend it tho
 5. Broadband/UMTS, I don't recommend it. Sure, you don't need to carry a USB modem around anymore. But then if you change provider to LTE/WiMAX, or if your BB provider gives you faster than 14.4Mbps speed (like say, U Mobile here in Malaysia), it will be wasted.

Hope this is helpful.

I thought your current Toshiba tablet works fine. I know it was repaired this past year though.

High schoolers these days....some high schoolers carpooling tried to trick me or something while walking to McDonalds and drove off laughing. Sad Not sure why...but I think they are the same group that yelled at me a few weeks ago while walking to the playhouse. What ever happened to morals these days?? Teens and college kids today (besides me of course) are just sick......they talk about things I would rather not mention here and, like these idiots that drove by me today, have nothing better to do than to pick on random people walking on the sidewalk trying to go out and eat or get groceries.

Sometimes things can go so wrong.

I found a Spot gift set I want yesterday. I e-mailed the seller to see if he's willing to ship to Malaysia, went to bed, and woke up to find that some $#!+head sniped it while I was asleep.

I feel like putting my fist through someone's face right now. Preferably the face of the person who sniped Spot away from me.

I'm also going to take extreme maneuvers to ensure I don't lose the last thing I'm monitoring... NOW!

See what I hate about December now, aside from postal packages regularly going missing?
