Whatever floats your boat I guess. I won't touch the movie ever again. It's only been watched in full once.
The Best Medicine > Magic. Because SCIENCE! can prove the former.

Phase two is complete, but not without a minor problem. See, I lost the original USB cable to Lilly's DVD-RW drive and I used a different one, which was about 4ft or so. Tried to install the Adobe Suite but the drive stalled almost all the way through. So I swapped the longer cable with a very short one, uninstalled the half-finished Adobe Suite and reinstalled. The install went without problems this time.
All that needs to be done is to finish customization of user profile and Opera new tab background and installing the rest of my preferred applications.

This article is from 2009, and I'm not bashing Apple in any way, but I thought I would share this in regards to Lilly. Many MacBook Pro's and iMacs from 2006 that have an ATI Radeon X1600 GPU have been slowly failing from 2009 onward.
When I originally ordered Lilly from Apple, I had an opportunity to build her with a AMD Radeon GPU instead of the integrated Intel HD 3000. This was not long after I was forced to retire Chrysanthemum, my first laptop. Her GPU was also an Radeon X1600, and it developed nearly the same problems as the 2006 MacBook Pros and iMacs that have an X1600. This must mean the X1600 by nature must put out a lot of heat that eventually caused failure.
Fearing the same could happen to Lilly, I just went with the Intel HD Graphics 3000 and she runs fine and dandy. I don't do any heavy gaming myself since it's either retro or casual for me. Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 also runs well.

I got a new business building for Christmas. I feel either very adult or very rich and spoiled, take your pick.
