I pick whatever sounds more fun. I think I would rather feel rich and spoiled.

Alright, I noticed something worrying about Windows and Lilly.
Under OSX, Lilly only feels barely warm like she should only getting hot when she is doing rather intense processing such as watching an HD video for a long time or rendering something in iMovie '09. However, under Windows, it seems that Lilly runs far hotter than OSX. Granted, Lilly is not my daily use computer. She is meant to be the media powerhouse, but even so, the heat concerns me.
I could get rid of Windows completely by acquiring at least a CS3 Mac disk set. CS3 was the first to support Intel CPUs and it appears that it can mostly run under Yosemite with a few minor issues, mostly with Illustrator. Problem... legit boxed copies on eBay are outrageously expensive and I'm not about to go and grab it off a random torrent site.
On the other hand, Lilly was running Windows Updates and stuff... maybe that's why. I shall run her idle for awhile and see if my theory is correct.

I let Lilly sit idle under Windows all night, and perhaps I was worrying about nothing.
I installed Speedfan for monitoring and both her CPU cores never went beyond 120F - 130F when idle.
I shall do the same tomorrow for OSX.

Great... I might not be able to give up Audrey simply because I'll feel bad if I do. What if the need for her arises again in the future? And what if my aunt doesn't really need a new PC?
I still plan on refreshing her, but I might end up keeping her. I have to wait and see.

My one and only New Year Resolution for 2015...
Save up money for a NeoGeo X Gold System. Still sold on eBay for around $150 with the system plus the MegaPack game collection.
Yeah, I know the emulation is not the best (console NeoGeo Collections emulate better honestly), but still, this is probably the closest NeoGeo-related console I will ever own. The real NeoGeo is far too expensive and the MVS, while cheaper, is meant for arcades and consolizing such systems can be very expensive.
