nabi Hot Wheels tablet stock ROM (NBTY07SMKG-US-HW)
#1
And since one of my buddies got his hands on a bunch of Hot Wheels nabis for him to resell off eBay, he offered to rip the ROM off this as well. Wink

The ROM's unsigned and may only be flashed with SP Flash Tool 5.1532.00. And it goes without saying to BACK UP YOUR STOCK ROM (basically everything, especially NVRAM, seccfg and secro; from my experience if you lose these, you're SOL) before installing this image!

To flash this ROM, run SP Flash Tool, open the scatter file (MT8127_Android_scatter.txt), uncheck all but BOOT, RECOVERY and ANDROID (or just ANDROID if the other system partitions are still intact), click Download, press and hold the Volume + button whilst plugging in the device, and wait until the tool starts flashing. Grab a cup of tea or coffee, and wait until the process is finished. If done correctly your device should be good as new. Wink

If you run into any problems with this or when it comes to repairing their device in general, feel free to ask me. Wink

Could you tell me exactly what were you trying to do? If you get an unknown device error you may have to wait for like a few hours then try to plug it in again.

tried installing the drivers from the link got them to install but still wont recognize the tablet. installed the signed google drivers and tried to do adb and the device is still not recognized. the tablet was factory reset and purchased off ebay, cant setup due to the tablet requiring the previous user id to setup. i tried to connect to the device using the bootloader, adb, device powered off... Nothing seems to work

Update... Tried a new usb cable just for kicks and it is recognizing it, but now the tablet starts up to the setup and interrupts the download. Tried putting in recovery mode. Nothing seems to work.

Do you have a Facebook Messenger account or Discord so I can converse with you better? The flashing process can be a little fiddly, and since you mentioned it being a used device with the previous user's ID being stored in it...
