It's an peculiar Christmas song, and I personally love it.

If John Lennon and Yoko Ono's "Happy Christmas" song is James' and mine, then "Fairytale of New York" is Bens' and mine. It is at least when MacGowan and MacCall are bantering. (It ain't G-rated.)

I have no idea why I worded that the way I did, since I wasn't angry. The whole song has been and continues to be completely our song, minus the romance and Broadway. Below is most of the song. Blue for male lines, pink for female, purple for both, if the color coding isn't obvious.
