#11
Hello tried installing the apk from a YouTuber linking your download in the vid description and it's stuck on queued and flashing to in-progress .  Any fixes?

You're not supposed to be using SP Flash Tool for that actually. Leapfrog has instructions on how to install third-party apps on their support page:

Flash tool? All I did was download it, I'm not using any flash tool. I've been successful downloading 3rd party apps and no problems. Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Would you mind taking a screenshot of the issue you are getting?

Sorry for necroing this post, but I have to say THANK YOU!!! And sorry for the screaming lol. I was going through old boxes and found two of these old crap tablets (we barely ever used) and figured there had to be root for these old things and here it is!!! Works great, got Play Store running and my own scripts running. Now to turn them into little media devices for my kids to stay off of my devices!!! lol Thanks again.

You're welcome! There's actually a much better method than this, though you might want to convert your tablet's firmware to the Academy Edition first if you end up in a boot loop with the following:

Strange, it works on my end, but that being said I may have to update said package based on what you can attest.

Install it as you would with the Amazon Store APK:

i don;t know why, i downloaded the amazon app no problem but when i got to the website to download the pollywob app it stalls forever and the eventuallly tells me that download fail, i side loaded it in to the tablets memory but the apk is gray and can't be clicked on, i dont know what i am doing wrong.

do i go to the website of the polllywob apk and donload it from there or is there a way to downloaded someplace else?

Go to Parents Menu and check if your version is 1.7.18. IIRC Epics that come with said firmware have what I believe is a bug that LeapFrog somehow did not even bother addressing, likely as parents may have just trashed their kids' tablets thinking they're toast.
