TWINS AGAIN, MY FRIENDS!

For several reasons, there was a very high chance that another pregnancy would be more non-identical twins (or a larger number). A big part of me thought that just wasn't going to happen. I'm... overwhelmed just thinking about it, I'll admit that. Here's to hoping we won't lose our minds!

I'm supposed to avoid getting stressed to get better. Haaaaaaaa ha ha, that's not working out! At least I'm not as stressed as I used to be. I took a trip down memory lane yesterday, and good grief, I used to be a lot more stressed and quick to react. Yesterday, I was silently telling my younger self in my memories and writings to stop being angry for one sentence. She barely ever listened to me, not like she could hear me.

After this week is over, I'll get my first salary. Now what should I do with it...

Oh good grief, I didn't know that was post #666.

Congratulations! If I were you, I would save the first salary. There's nothing you need that isn't being provided, and saving money certainly can't hurt.

Oh, and David, I hope you're having a good birthday!

Plan for first salary:
1. Donate to church
2. Eat at a slightly luxurious restaurant with family
3. Commission one or two or three pictures from the fellow deviant
4. Save the remaining

True, but I can live without those. I get enough detail as it is. Tongue

I feel stupidly rich, with a twelve bedroom house being built, and it's not even my money for the most part. The home is thanks to a collaboration of people, including my stepfather-in-law and cousins-in-law who, well, are people you could call wealthy although they don't act like they are. Oh, by the way, we're not going to Italy after all. That we can't afford on top of everything else, and I'm sick anyway.

Even though I feel stupidly rich, when it comes to buying for me as an individual, I automatically think I'm still poor and feel strange getting help from others. And I sure do give frugal advice about money.

Edit:
By the way, Ben succeeded in being the first person to make his daughter laugh! Maybe he wanted to do this because he was the first person to make me laugh. I'm not sure. What happened was he was looking at lists of things to do for the house project, since the family is helping with the construction, and he didn't like the prospect of hard work and he jumped on the couch and hid under a red blanket. He looked like a turtle, a shivering squeaking red turtle saying, "EEK!" I don't blame his daughter for laughing!

My littlest ones first laughed at each other. They weren't doing anything in particular, just giggling at the other little people beside 'em. I first laughed when I was older than our kids were in their first laughs. I was still a baby, though, if not for much longer. Ben was entertaining me by telling a silly story using slapstick. What was the slapstick story about? A wedding!

A few days ago, I stumbled across a nasty little Youtube video freaturing Rainbow Dash which I cannot describe as it's just that nasty.

Said video has apparently been removed from Youtube the next day, but I felt that my dignity has been destroyed after watching the video.

I then stumbled across a Rainbow Dash rocking horse on eBay. The seller was in the UK. At once I realize that this is the one thing I needed to repair my dignity.

I contacted the seller about shipping and got no reply. But the auction did not mention anything about it being pick-up only and seems to imply that the seller is willing to ship within the UK. "Okay", I thought to myself, "I'll just have it shipped to my UK VPost address. It'll cost more but it's worth it". I was nearly outbid twice, but in the end I won.

Then the stinger came.

The seller claims that it's pick-up only. I argued about the information but it was fruitless, the seller refused to ship.

No other rocking horses will do. It has to be Rainbow Dash, since it was a video featuring Rainbow Dash that destroyed my dignity, it has to be a very large Rainbow Dash to repair it.

In fact, it turned my birthday completely upside down. I was devastated and could not enjoy my vacation at all.

So I beg this of the forums. If you own or know anyone who owns a rocking horse Rainbow Dash, please sell it (or get the person who owns it to sell it) to me. I am willing to pay up to US$300, as well as all shipping costs, for it. It's urgent, for the longer this go on the worse my already bad health will become.

Please.... I really need it.

I had never heard of a Rainbow Dash rocking horse before, or any other My Little Pony rocking horse for that matter. It turns out they are not for sale in North America, and no, I don't know anyone who owns any. I'm sorry.

Today, we saw The Wizard of Oz in the theater. The last time I saw it, I was a kid. There are a number of things I wondered, after seeing the movie again for the first time in over three decades.

• Why didn't the Wicked Witch just teleport behind Dorothy and blast her with fire? All right, that sounds insanely violent. The thing of it is, she had the power to do this! Why give her teleportation magic and the ability to create fire, and yet never let her use either effectively?

• Why did the Wicked Witch use "poison" that only made people sleep? Why didn't she use actual poison?

• Why did the Wicked Witch say she would kill Dorothy after an hourglass finished running down? Why didn't she get rid of her on the spot? Did the witch have something else to do that couldn't wait?

• Why did the Wicked Witch keep water in her house when she knew water would cause her to melt?

• Did Mrs. Gulch, the Wicked Witch's counterpart in Kansas, die in the tornado? She was bicycling when the tornado hit and she was the only character from the beginning of the movie who didn't appear at the end of the movie.

I think I need to read the book again. I also think, while the movie had potential, I prefer every other remake of Oz (that I know of) to this movie. Yes, the movie was classic and fun. The problem is that it seemed like its main point was advertising the then-new invention of cinematic color, instead of paying more attention to having the plot make sense. The book won't explain my last question, since Oz's Kansian counterparts were added on for the film. In the book, Oz was real. In the movie, Oz was a dream. That aside, the book might be able to answer my other questions.

Also,

• Why are all my questions about one character?

They showed the original 1939 "Wizard of Oz" in the theater there? Intriguing. The local theaters here (one indoor theater and, lucky for me, an outdoor drive-in theater) never show anything like this during the season. Just current release movies, usually several weeks behind their release date, but every once in awhile it's available on release day, like the Pix Theater's midnight showing of the latest "Transformers" offering.

Was that theater where they showed the "Wizard of Oz" a fairly standard theater, an art house theater, or a drive-in theater? I hope it was a drive in theater. Those are rare, and Winner is lucky to still have one. We used to have two, but the other one closed about 15 years ago and is now a gravel pit, welding shop, and porta-potty rental service. Sad

RAMChYLD, how did you stumble across that nasty video? Unless the person who uploaded it kept anything about it's nastiness out of the videos title or description, then I can see how you may have stumbled across it by accident and ended up watching it. If I see a video begin to turn nasty, I just hit back as fast as I can.

It is a standard theater. Our local area itself is something of a haven. Some of the cities in driving distance are not. Those cities are still better than several other places I've been. Anyway, our local theater shows children's movies for free once a week in the summer and it also shows local productions in film and stage for extra revenue,* folks have parties with horse drawn carriages and bouncy houses and popcorn and races and so forth on most summer weekends, there is a nearby Amish community that invites everyone in for a monthly dinner and celebration, and there are a number of fun yearly fairs and festivals. It's really a very nice atmosphere. Just thinking about it makes me wonder why I chose to work away from it for half this year. I wish I could route a bus to take the students I had to the school here or something.

We would love to see an outdoor movie theater. I know lots of people have talked about wanting one. It's a matter of money. The economy's recession hit this place pretty hard. It's amazing that we've triumphed as well as we have, though, and I can definitely see us having a drive-in movie theater within five years.

* In the absences of most of the founders of the local productions, myself included, two remaining founders and other people have become addicted to filming and staging the most corny horror adventures ever. It's funny how silly they are. I think the people who make 'em are just putting in whatever they think as they go along. I would be surprised if these were planned out carefully.

ZOMBIES! KETCHUP BLOOD! PEOPLE WENT IN THE WOODS AND TURNED INTO ZOMBIES! OH MY GOSH, GHOSTS! OH MY GOSH, THERE IS THE GHOST OF A SLAUGHTERED PIG HAUNTING THESE WOODS! MORE KETCHUP BLOOD! OUR FRIENDS TURNED INTO ZOMBIES! THE BLOOD HAD NO PURPOSE! AAAAH, WE SEE KETCHUP BLOOD! LOOK, A GHOST!

Edit:
This is amazing! Donations my husband and I have been making since adopting James Junior have now provided for the surgeries of fourteen orphans!

It's okay. I understand. I've also posted the question to MLP Arena, but I guess I'm going to get no reply due to it's extreme rareness that means people will hang on to it if just for bragging rights.

Didn't Mrs. Gulch transform into the Wicked Witch during the tornado? I sorta recall that scene.

I was trolled from TVTropes. Clicked on a link from there, and then it showed up in the related sidebar on Youtube. I stupidly clicked on the related link, not knowing that it will have averse effect on my mental health.

And yeah, he did not mention anything about the nastiness in the title. And it had a blank description.
