Now I have cold heartburn! What in the world is cold heartburn? I didn't know such a thing was possible! I can't find a way to get better when I'm too hot and too cold at the same time!

All right, all right, Powers Above, I won't be giving birth again after this! Pleeeeease stop this unnecessary pain! I didn't have cold heartburn last time! Yuck, I want this first trimester over. I'm such a sick mess. Granted, last time, my first trimester was in the end of autumn that people seem to think of as winter anyway and most of winter. The heat of summer is the opposite of that, and I know it's contributing to making me feel worse.

Oh, and I also have laryngitis, not to mention much worse morning sickness than I had before. Why it's called morning sickness when it lasts all day, I do not know.

James made a meal of potatoes, corn, casserole, hash, oranges, squash, and orange cake today. That was the most yellow, orange, and brown meal I'd ever seen. I can't believe he expected me to eat all that when I'm as sick as I am. I craved orange juice and oranges when carrying the twins. I don't crave anything now, except for wanting to feel better! Maybe I'll have two boys this time, since this round is so different.

EDIT:
Well, I was right about there being no such thing as cold heartburn... I hope that I and others are not right about something else, too... Cry

Well, that magical time has once again arrived. The yearly family vacation to the Black Hills of South Dakota!!

However, I will not be posting a daily blog on the forum like I did last year, because Im going to limit the time I spend on the computer to an hour or less, and spending the time at the hotel watching TV and my "Little Polar Bear" DVDs. Not to mention listening to some of the best radio stations in the state. (Rapid City has a very good Oldies station that doesn't force you to listen to commercials every 10 minutes)

So, until next Sunday, stay cool! This heat wave in the USA is bad.
I love foxes, especially the one in my avatar.

Is American summer heat THAT bad? This is probably not comparable, but I've felt the summer heat in The Netherlands and Norway, and they're still cooler than everyday weather in Indonesia.

I agree. All I can gather is that the summer weather in the US is somewhat like the weather in the highlands in Malaysia.

Yes, American summers are that bad. Consider yourselves fortunate. We get heat waves and more than a few days with advisories to stay inside with air conditioning to avoid dying from heat stroke!

I've tried searching for some information about heat wave. On wiki, it is said that in the US it is considered a heat wave if the temperature reaches 32 Celsius for three consecutive days.

Kinda surprising for me, since daily sunny weather in Indonesia, Jakarta in particular, is 33 Celsius on average, and often times reach 35 Celsius during busy hours because of the heat coming from vehicles.

No wonder foreigner tourists I see are almost always clad in minimum clothing. Its heat wave everyday for them! Confusedhock:

It's not what we're used to. The country two of my children were adopted from has average temperatures between ours. It is currently cooler over there than it is here, though. It's currently a bit cooler for you than it is for me, too, Sandy. That is probably because of storming, according to my computer.

I... kinda don't understand.
