The Dell Vostro is finished. Meet Patsy... or Cleopatra. Just call her Patsy.

Upgrades I gave her were an MSI GeForce 210 and SoundBlaster Audigy FX. RAM upgrade will come later. Despite having a 64bit C2D, she only supports 4GB max RAM, which is strange and a bit pointless if you want a 64bit system. But 32bit Vista Business runs 'swell.

Greta will now be regulated to an as-needed basis, mainly for road trips and if both of my desktops end up being busy. It's far more comfortable using a PC on a desk than being hunched over a TV dinner tray.

Fun fact... this PC came with an extra graphics card present... a Jaton GeForce 4MX PCI. Not PCI-e... just plain old PCI. GeForce4 MX may have been good back in the day, but even a barebones 210 outclasses it.

So I hear that they're introducing a villain to the 2009 reboot. Sour Grapes. Word has it that they were caving in to the bronies.

Whatever.

I don't care anymore.

I don't think the bronies even watch the 2009 SSC reboot. SSC has had villians before in earlier generations. Remember the Peculiar Purple Pieman of Porcupine Peak? (I hope I got his name right)

I haven't seen the 2009 reboot myself, but Discovery Family has been promoting new episodes as of late. The 2009 SSC would be better in my eyes if they just went with 2D animation. I don't really care for 3D CGI unless if its done well... aka Pixar/Dreamworks. 2D animated cartoons just appeal more to me than CGI.

Explain why the bronies were praising it after Moonscoop made the move.

In any case, it doesn't matter anymore. This mess started because my research tells me that the Malaysian government has banned Arthur over the fact that Marc Brown converted to Judaism (racism is very alive in Malaysia, especially prejudice towards Judaism, because the idiot government is sucking up to the Saudis, who are backing the Palestine. Heck, they even have some restrictions on non-Muslims- ie, we're not allowed to buy houses that costs below a certain price range). The only perfect substitute, Franklin, has no chance of coming in anymore because for some reason Nick Jr has purged themselves off all Nelvana programming (my research tells me that this is due to Nelvana launching KidsCo and Viacom feeling hurt over the move, nevermind that KidsCo has ceased to exist since two years ago). Not being able to see Arthur again... I'm sorry, but I cannot live with it. I can never live with it. If I can't have the real thing, I want a substitute. But if I can't have a substitute, I want the real thing. I cannot live without Arthur or Arthur-like shows.

I'm not aware of any brony praise. EQD never mentioned SSC 2009. Perhaps a few praised on some forum I never visit (EQD is the only site I go for that stuff as of late). If you could point me to this praise, provide a URL.

<goes and checks DFC Facebook page>

Results: Bronies commenting on SSC 2009 posts confirmed. Some praise seen, but others either don't seem to care about SSC 2009 or are still lamenting the loss of Hub Network.... nearly a year after it switched to DFC.

Analysis complete.
In all seriousness, I still can't believe there are people who want Hub Network back. It's been nearly a year now and they still demand they want Hub back, and it's not just bronies either. DFC is here to stay, in all it's hilariously disorganized glory. Who wants some European Jungle Book shows?
