We gotta move the site to another server too, once we're at it. I'm also thinking about selling Fegelbook to Stacy for like a hundred dollars as having too many sites in my care is a bit too much imo.

If an A10 with a R7 can do that, then a FX with a R9....

Yeah, maybe it just needs new drivers.

Now if only that Intel would catch up... :/

So I just got a free CRT TV set from a friend of mine. It's nearly identical to my current retro gaming CRT. Same brand and overall design, except the color is silver, has integrated ATSC tuner and component video input.

Yeah... component on an old CRT set. I tested it, and it looks amazing, even more so than a flat panel as the signal isn't scaled. It probably can't support 480p, but the picture is still amazing regardless.

I'm in the middle of deciding whether or not to swap out my current retro gaming set with the silver one. On one hand, the component input would do wonders with Lars and Elsie (PS2 and Wii). I never seen Animal Crossing City Folk look so good.

Though flat panels are the future of TV, I still have a soft spot for heavy bulky CRTs. Tongue

Mostly because retro games tend to look "better" on CRT, eh? Yeah, I do get you on that one, as they're made with CRTs in mind anyway, like with the water effects in Sonic 2, for example.

Indeed. I played my retro games on a flat panel, and they tend to look more blocky as the image is scaled up to the LCD's native resolution, and the analog AV outputs also look blurry and soft. You also can't play lightgun games on a flat panel. Below is a neat video from Game Sack (a great channel BTW) that goes into more detail on this subject.

Accidentally knocked a metal energizer flashlight off my nightstand onto my iPad which was sitting on a ride-on next to it. Now the screen is cracked Sad

And you know how hard it is to service an iPad and have the touch panel replaced... :/

Some people I seen have bashed up cracked iPhones or iPads and they are still using them like normal. The touch panels appeared to work fine despite the damage.

That is not to say that every cracked iPad/iPhone screen will still have a working touch screen. I guess it depends if the damage is great enough to affect the capacitive touch sensing layer or whatever they use for the touch screen.

In answer to your question, I'm fine with my Surface.

Her name is Stella Grapes, by the way. She's purple.
