Look what took me almost ten years to accomplish, longer if you count the racing of my youth!

First place in my age division!

Congratulations! I'm truly happy for what you have just achieved!

I have won in only one official competition so far in my entire life, and that was just a small racing game tournament in an arcade. The racing game used for the tournament was Daytona USA 2, and the prize was only a 500k rupiah (About US$ 50) worth of the arcade's voucher. Either I was lucky that other competitors were not really good, or my skill was too good, I won the first place driving with only one hand, while my other hand caressed my brother (7 years old that time) who stood next to my seat. Manual transmission.

Why am I rambling about my past?

Anyway, once again, congratulations! Big Grin

Better than me. Too useless to have won anything.

Well, it appears at this hour the US Government is on the verge of another "shutdown" due to congress members arguing over a spending bill. That would be the second shutdown in just over a year.

My government is so wonderful.... NOT.

I disagree. I couldn't have won races when I was 32, either.

Another thing, it's best to cook frozen ready meals in the oven if oven directions are given. You will get a better tasting meal and it cooks better too.

Too bad the healthier "Smart Ones" meals are microwave only. >.<

You just know that. now? Tongue My mom had been telling me that for years. Why I eventually only used toaster ovens for my instant pizzas.

I used to Microwave Hot Pockets, and I will admit, I occasionally still do. But I try to oven bake those when I can as they come out crispier and better tasting like the frozen ready meals. Smile I could even do it in my room since I have that old Sharp Convection Microwave, but I need to learn how to translate the oven times to convection oven times.

Sadly, there are many other meals that are only designed to be microwave at least on the box. There are these healthier Smart Ones meals I mentioned earlier, and they state Microwave Only. The only one of those I tried was from a similar brand and it was a Panini Sandwich. It came with a crisping plate and it turned out to be rather good. Most of them are like TV dinners where you slit the plastic and cook for the length of time it needs. Technically they could be cooked in an oven I guess since they are precooked anyway, but there is no way to determine the oven time.

eh, convection =oven. no translation necessary.

Good to know. I still have worry I may burn my meal, but I guess I can only experiment. Smile

I found a way to email Ganz Customer Support to inquire about those stupid video ad boxes appearing in the game window. I had no problem with the standard ads before since those aren't nearly as distracting or annoying as the streaming video ones. There is a way to turn off third party ads and just get ones for Ganz stuff, but it requires paid Gold membership, and I don't have extra funds at the moment.

It's entirely possible I may just get a standard PR reply, but I should at least try. The video ad is for a TMZ-like gossip show or something which has no place on Webkinz to begin with. One obstacle remains in the way of potential success... I need a Webkinz secret code and I misplaced mine at the moment. I'm sure I will locate one since you just need one from any pet you purchased.

One more thing... nearly all the canned Corned Beef in the USA is imported from South America for some reason.
