In the states, you can leave high school at age sixteen.

Some European countries, at least German countries, have the option of replacing high school with apprenticeship programs. I know I did not have a clue what I wanted to do when I was in high school.

James' mother never even started high school, because she was pregnant with him at only thirteen. Her family protected the both of them. This was a different era, although I don't doubt it still happens. Granted, that is an emergency circumstance.

James' mother was the youngest of fourteen children. I remind people of her. I do not physically resemble her, and I had children much later in life. It's some notable personality traits that we have in common.

Ah, hello again Prue. Nice to hear from you again. Smile

I stuck with high school until graduation. There were times when I wanted to drop out due to stress and bullying, but I made it through and ended up graduating and going to college.

Audrey has internet again. Yay. Smile

I ordered the exact same USB WiFi adapter, and this time, I need to be a bit more careful when messing about with Audrey's USB setup. I think I pushed the antenna a bit too far and broke the internal board last time.

I'm sure some of you are wondering, who is Mimi, the cute little brown poodle in my avatar and signature?

Well, she's a cute little brown poodle that appeared in the 2000 PBS Kids show "Clifford, the Big Red Dog".

The issue? She wasn't a main character at all. She didn't live on Birdwell Island, and only came there when her owner, a photographer lady, visited the island. She first appeared in the episode "T-Bone, Dog About Town", where T-Bone, one of Clifford's friends, falls in love with her at first sight. The next episode she appears in is "Big Hearted T-Bone" in season 2. And really, those are the only two episodes she actually shows up in, unless you count a brief fantasy sequence and cameo in "Doghouse Rock".

Even though Mimi may have been meant to be just a one-off character, they could have featured her in a few more episodes and developing her character a little bit more rather than just have her as T-Bone's love interest. I'm sure they could have written up good material featuring Mimi making friends with the others.

Alas... it wasn't meant to be.

"Gain Ground" is a very underrated strategy/action game.

I mastered the Master System port. Now I must take on the Genesis version.
