The Spam Thread!
Why, hello there Prue! Smile It's been a while since we heard from you, but you have been certainly busy with various things. I do hope you can sort out that issue with Ben. Conflict within the family is horrible.

Do you like snakes? I recall that one time you told me that you had a Webkinz Snake. Now, you have a real pet snake, it appears. I hope it's not poisonous.

I need to tend to my Webkinz, but I have been busy with Animal Crossing. I'm trying to finish paying off my virtual mortgage as well as saving up money for a very expensive room set.

Well, I just realized that Elsie is now three years old. I bought her in July 2011. I forget the exact date.

Even though I got her very late in the Wii's lifespan, she still provides my daily fix of Animal Crossing and Mario games. She can't really do anything online now, but that's okay.

I am still planning on acquiring the Wii U in the future, but not right now. The funds are far too low.

Oh, and a month from now, it will be Audrey's first birthday. Smile

The late night bug hunting in ACCF has been holding up, with rare bugs occuring every night for the past week. The giant beetles, rainbow stags, and scarab beetles have been plentiful, with the bells to match. I should be able to score the Sweets room set in due time.

Although, I really should begin to focus on fishing. Summer is going to be over in about a month or so, and certain kinds of fish only appear in summer months.

As a programmer who have cussed at many different programming languages (spent the last two days cussing at Objective-C), I can relate.

I can relate too, even though I was trying to learn VisualBasic in class last year. I got hit with very complex stuff and it took me ages to figure out the lessons. >.<

Hence why I never want to be a programmer. Computer repair and maintenance is my specialty.

Dregs is what's called a chicken snake! They are not venomous.

Guess what Ben said today?

"Why do I have to do everything for everybody?"

If we had a smilie of a face hitting another face with a hammer, I would use it. He does the least for anybody!

Just realized this: Physicist sounds like Saxton Hale.

No, not that kind of framed. Let me explain....

I have one of those neat digital photo frames hanging on my wall. It is my second one in just a year. I use it to display some of my favorite screencaps and furry art. Until today it seems.

It appears that the second frame in just a year is going out. I'm unsure as to whether or not it's the frame itself or the AC adapter, though it's going to be tough trying to find a spare AC adapter that matches the frame's requirements.

My previous frame was a off-brand unit I found for $20 at Family Dollar. The picture quality wasn't astounding, but it worked. The AC adapter quit working about a year in though, and I was lucky to find a spare adapter that worked fine.

Then last July, I got my current frame, an Insignia NS-DPF7WM-09. It's a wonderful frame, complete with remote and high res LCD. Last night the display appeared to be flaking out and it was making a weird hissing noise. Sad

If I can ever find a replacement AC adapter, I can see if the frame itself is going out or if it just needs a new adapter. If it's the adapter, then I worry about other AC adapters built the same way. If used constantly, they only last about a year it seems. >.<

Ever had one of those times a crane machine manufacturer steals music from a game you haven't played in years that it puzzles you to no end? And then suddenly the answer hits you like a ton of bricks?

Just realized that with one crane machine and stolen music from Chrono Trigger. Namely first, Delightful Spekkio.

Seriously, this stupid song bugged me for a few weeks, and I was actually thinking "The Lion King" and wanted to get my aunt to find where my Super Creation went so I could plug it in and check it out myself (for some reason I didn't remember that I could emulate the game using Kega or ZSNES either. My brain is really shorted out lately).

Then two days ago, I looked at a gun game when the game was being played, and "trigger" suddenly resonated in my mind. Then the word "Chrono" came up and everything else came flooding in.

And that wasn't the only offending machine. Another water gun game blatantly stole the chocobo music from Final Fantasy III. Although I remembered that one right away since it was nigh unmistakeable.

In the USA (or at least in South Dakota), I haven't come across a crane machine that shamelessly steals video game music. They are mostly silent when you move the crane. The prizes range from simple stuffed animals to cheap wristwatches. I even have seen bundles of DS games and ChiPod MP3 players at times.

As for other games, I haven't seen any water gun games here. I have seen games that stock up high caliber prizes, such as iPads and bundles of Wii games, and you have to try and insert a key into the matching hole or try to cut a rope.
