Here is a TV ad I constantly see on AlJazeera America... one for a sketchy PC security suite called "PCMatic". Here, they essentially go all Eagleland and suggest you get security software made in the land of the free and the home of the brave....

...except if your security software works well, does what it does, and is not malicious, then it shouldn't matter what country the software is made in.
I love foxes, especially the one in my avatar.

Quoting a Buffalax video, or making your own Buffalax-type lyrics to foreign songs again? Tongue

As for me, another late night bug hunt is upon me, with a meteor shower to enhance the mood.

Was it just me or does this remind me of FinallyFast or any one of them spamware registry cleaners?

I got that vibe too. The FinallyFast commercials were fail all around, including production errors like having a G4 iMac show a BSOD. The product itself was basically malware by what reviews said.

That, and a narm-worthy footage of a teen playing a rather stereotypical space shooter.

So last night, on my Facebook page, I decided to post two questions that I wanted my friends to answer. It was about my links to political articles reflecting my POV, and whether or not I should try Netflix out.

Fast forward about 12 hours later, I haven't got a single response. Not one.

Look, I'm not vying for unwarranted attention, but now I'm starting to feel like most of my FB friends (besides Blake and a few personal friends I actually know) don't really care about me, nor do they want to listen to me.

I wanted to know about politics, not to start an argument or anything. Most of my friends have political views that oppose mine, and I started posting links to articles that reflect my view as a way to present that viewpoint to my friends. I live in America, and one should expect that people will present you an opposing viewpoint. I understand that politics can get heated, and in severe cases, cause friendships to break. That has happened to me before. Around Fall 2012, I overdid it with my politics, becoming very confrontational to the opposing viewpoint. One of my friends unfriended me for about a day or so because of it. I don't want that to happen again, hence why I initially stopped posting links to political articles, or avoiding politics altogether.

Though lately, I decided to start posting links to articles again. I choose my sources carefully, avoiding sites that ridicule the opposing view. I try to stay fair and balanced in my posts, and I no longer make snarky or confrontational comments. Even so, I felt I needed to ask that question just in case.

But if no one answers my questions, does that indicate they are intentionally ignoring me? Don't they care about what I have to say?

I know that Blake and a few friends I actually know, aren't like this. I'm talking about the ones I first met on YouTube, and by extension, I friended on Facebook some time ago. I don't personally know them, yet I want to socialize with them in the best way possible. But I get the feeling that perhaps they might not care about me after all. Because of all this, I'm starting to consider deactivating my Facebook page, or at the very least, unfriending the people who are apparently ignoring me.

So a friend young enough to be my daughter, the Strawberry to my Grapes, is already a teacher. She is so young. I am jealous. Most people have their lives sorted long before I did.

I'm doing better than good now. I'm a foster mother of several, a property owner, and a dance instructor sometimes. I own a building that other dance instructors pay me to use.

It just took me so much longer than others, and I messed so many things up in my life.

And I know being a Stella isn't being lesser than being a Berry Princess, just different.

Grass is always greener on the other side and all that.

On another note, there has been drama with Ben. Which is costing me money. As in I'm not making any money from his shop because of it. He told me something happened. Barb told me something else happened. They're not close, and were talking for the first time in about ten or six years because it involved me. (The matter is private.)

I told Ben that I had conflicting information, and wanted the three of us to talk it through together. Barb had agreed to this.

Ben's stupid response was, "No! She's a liar! I'm never speaking to her again! YOU DON'T TRUST ME! AFTER ALL WE'VE BEEN THROUGH! I refuse to speak to that woman! Get out and go to Barbette if you like her so much!"

Whatever. He made it obvious he was lying with that reaction. That was eight days ago. Now he wants my help again, only if I trust him unconditionally. That is not going to happen.

Oh, and a snake kept tapping on my basement windows to get inside the house yesterday! Guess who has a pet?

Nice to hear from you again, and good to hear that now you have your life sorted out. Smile
Ben seems childish to me. I have no idea how I would handle such attitude. I wish you luck on that.

Congrats for your meeting with Dregs! Make sure to learn all the necessary things about having a pet snake, since it's not a common kind of pet to have. Is it a venomous kind? I hope not.
