I think that breaks the record of your shortest message ever posted? Or not? =P
I hope you will give your comment before going on vacation. Wink

Just a random childhood memory:

For quite a while I thought those angry comic characters literally shouted "Thunderbolt skull snake fist knife bomb!" lol. Now that I know, I always laugh a bit remembering that thought.

So I just played back a song on the Madeline soundtrack ("I am not afraid of Snakes", iirc it's from the episode "Madeline On The Orient Express") and compared it to Harmony Bear in AiCaL singing in "Battle of the Bands".

Andrea Libman's voice hasn't changed much between 1995 and 2007 O.O

And sampling Fluttershy's singing in "The Cutie Mark Chronicles"...

Wow.. make the hasn't changed much between 1995 and 2011. I can close my eyes and still hear Madeline singing!

When I read this, I wanted to break the record further. You can see how well that did not work out.

My vacation is next week. I don't disappear for as long as nearly two weeks without saying something in advance.

Tomorrow, one of my students graduates from elementary school into middle school. His parents are throwing him an enormous party, of which I will be a guest of honor. Oh my. No, I'm not upset. This is different. I'm very glad that his parents love him and are proud of him.

The reason only one of my students is graduating is because he was the oldest of the class. The classroom ranged from age three at entrance to age ten or eleven at graduation, provided the students are not held back any years. Starting this autumn, the class will be for ages two and up through elementary school. My country is addicted with putting its children in school earlier and earlier, though school is still not mandatory until age five. It is, however, socially mandatory to send your children to school at earlier ages these days.

It is insane to have children of such widely varying ages stuck in one room. I have had to fight to get them opportunities to go on field trips and participate in everything else the other students at the school take for granted. Segregation still exists in North America. It still exists mightily, though it is worse in a number of other countries. While segregation based on race is illegal in my continent, segregation based on different brain wiring is not.

In a certain parallel North America, methinks it would indeed be racial. White skin is the majority in Strawberryland's North America as it is in this North America, yes, though I am referring to race based on color schemes that go beyond skin. Really, in a world where color is so vividly a part of daily life, color outside of skin would determine race. Purple = neurally different, according to the way I have it set out. In the real world, neurobiologically disabled people are the largest minority anywhere. (That's an awkward word, but "mentally disabled" paints an inaccurate picture and not a full picture. We're physically disabled on the inside, regarding our literal nerves and often-but-not-always lots of allergies and so forth.)

Now I have a big dilemma. I would love to just transfer my students to a better school. The school they go to is ridiculously prejudiced, and I did not like working in an environment where my co-workers treated me so negatively. The problem is distance for the students. I could (though money would be a challenge) rent a building near where I live, until the log cabin is finished, and I could teach them there. The building I have in mind and the log cabin would both provide larger space than that silly little room they have been pushed into. It would be a distance issue for them, though. They are over forty minutes away, in another school district. The reason they are stuck in their school is because of the way districts work.

Also, if I go back (which I will be able to and yes, the court drama is over), I will be expected to put Jubilee and Eulalia in that crazy classroom even though we do not live in the prejudiced school's district. By default of their mother teaching there, it would be expected. I don't like this at all. I don't think two year olds need to be in school, that school has nothing for my son who would be expected to run around with other boys which is something he cannot do, and I do not want my babies put in such a ridiculous environment as that place.

I want to help, though. I wish that a simple solution would fall out of the sky.

Oh, that is hilarious. In my day, angry comic characters only shouted "******" and "------" and the like. I figured it out right away, somehow, probably because I had big brothers to explain things.

Maybe I should have said it better that I'm still eagerly waiting for you to comment on my chapter, especially that the next one is already halfway done.

Yeah, I have overcome my addiction to games. At least partly.

Wait, Hindustan Electronics Company Ltd makes tea leaf processing machines according to Google. What do they have to do with The Lasy Guy? And why is all the voice-overs in the game in Hindi?
