The Spam Thread!
I just took a look at my old friend's Amazon Wish List, and he wants a Kindle Fire??!!

Just in case my old friend lurks here at the forums, I shall message him...

Dear friend, do you know what you are getting yourself into? The Kindle Fire isn't really a full fledged tablet... it's merely a device that is designed to work with Amazon's various services, like the AppStore, or Video, or MP3.

A much better tablet to get would be the Google Nexus 7. Not only can you use Amazon Kindle, App Store, Video, or MP3 on it, you also have full access to Google Play, which is by far the better app store. You also get the full Android tablet experience as well, which is very easy to learn.

It's all up to you though. I'm not stopping you from wanting an Amazon Kindle Fire HD.... just read my words and try to do some research on the Google Nexus 7.

Me, I just use a discount $99 tablet, but it's enough for me.

Wade, and anyone curious:

We ate Mountain House food. All you need besides what's in the pouches is boiled water, and that, in addition to keeping people warm, is what fires are for. Mountain House food isn't bad. James mentioned that it was better than he'd been imagining for years. Also, the racers offered us desserts that they couldn't carry. We watched their supplies until they got to us, and they couldn't continue on with everything from their supplies, so some offered us desserts. Unused supplies from the racers who never made it to us were returned, of course.

For volunteering, we received a large discount for entering the next race as contestants. It costs over a hundred dollars, and my guess is that is so people will take the race seriously instead of showing up on a whim. We won't be using the discounts, though. We laughed when we read our mailed appreciation awards. I don't think either of us will ever be in shape for that type of thing. Unfortunately, we can't give the discounts to other people, because our names and our volunteer work are written on them.

Are those basically instant food, similar to instant noodles? Well, I browsed the site a bit and I found the price to be kinda expensive. Yeah, I know it's the price of the convenience provided by the product, but still... Maybe I'm just too used to spending only between $1-$2 for lunch. Tongue

Anyway, weekend ends again. Time to get back on my feet again.

Ugh, I'm seeing bronies trolling the Strawberry Shortcake posts by The Hub. What's their problem?!?

Okay, time to put my differences in taste of Beiber aside, because this attacking of SSC is uncalled for.

After browsing the site... I'm hungry. And it's 2 AM.

Agreed. Unfortunately, even if we ignore them, they're totally mucking up the post with "need more ponies" crap. I don't know what their problem is. They already have all the ponies they want with Hasbro listening to them and corrupting the ponies into their twisted image. Why are they bothering SSC fans now?!?

Even if you don't agree with the pony posts, or the fandom in general, you have to try your best to ignore them. It's hard to ignore something that you don't like, but you can't hold on to it forever. You have to drop it and move on to other interests.

That reminds me... I need to post something in the "Work Related Issues" thread.

Leapfrog's App Store has become IP region-locked and no longer allows me to buy US exclusive titles >.<

This is ridiculous. I'm now blocked off an Arthur alternative I was researching, as well as my 5th option of getting Arthur.

Declassification of project DRAKE.NDI-11-001-0001

NextGenDRAKE / New DRAKE Initiative documentation for:
Operation Striped II: The Next PantsMan Project.

Reason of declassification: project has failed with the reason of input source cut off.

The New DRAKE Initiative (NDI), or NextGenDRAKE, is an initiative to move on from G10 to G11, with the end of G10 signaled by the destruction of MLPFIM. With that, we need to discover a “kickstart node” that will signal the launch of the migration to G11

This project involves the analysis of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood has so far not addressed the three laws, however it does comply by the first of The Advanced Laws of The Anti-Barney (#1: Negative emotions exist). This show is In KIV. However given its heritage it is unlikely that this show will ever make it to Malaysian TV.
---

1.4 Three laws of Anti-Barney (Prime Directive of the LABSPA)
1) Little Sisters are a pain in the butt
2) School = hell
3) Don’t Talk to Strangers

Additionally (advanced laws)
1 Negative emotions exist.
2 Hell-thy snacks = bad, Un-hell-thy snacks = good
3 Eat lots of tiramisu, drink lots of beer
