After reading this, I have lost all faith in this world.
I don't want to live on this planet anymore...

Welcome back, Daffodil. Sorry I left you out in the rain six years back.

In the USA, one of the major casino companies is IGT, and I know for a fact that their video slots are PC based. As for what OS they run, I'm not sure. Could be Linux, but I also have a hunch it could be Windows XP Embedded.

Depends on whether they're willing to shell out cash for Windows licensing fees, or if they want to go open-source. Most of the terminals here run on XP or Windows 7. There are some that still run 98 (probably due to the POS software being DOS-based, like in an auto accessories store my dad and I frequent), but they're rare. So far I haven't encountered any establishment that made use of Linux or Mac OS for their terminals.

That remind me. I was in Menards one time, and they had this display computer set up in a particular store section I couldn't remember. I believed the purpose of the computers was to help customers find a particular piece of hardware in said section. Those computers had these old fashioned CRTs from the early 2000s, and one of the monitors was stuck on a Windows 98 shutdown screen!
I walk by the same section on Black Friday on my way to pick up some items, and both computers had Out of Order sheets taped on the monitors.

Epic Pizza Fail ... So I want to bake myself a good "Jack's" brand Canadian Bacon pizza, and it turns out some of the sauce got stuck between the Pizza and cardboard piece that sits under it and it was frozen. Imagine my surprise when I try to remove the cardboard to bake the pizza....
Cardboard got stuck to the bottom of the pizza and I would have to thaw it out halfway just to remove it, so I had to throw an entire uncooked pizza in the garbage.

This week has been not too good for me, and exam is coming close.
At least my laptop is back now.
