The Spam Thread!
I'm going to wipe Windows XP Pro X64 off Sally and move her to OpenIndiana. It's been no secret that she's been a little unstable since I switched her to running off a laptop hard drive via one of those drive trays. Idk, maybe using a drive tray is a bad idea. Maybe I shouldn't have run the Arconis WD-Align software which claims to optimize the hard disk. Maybe using a laptop hard drive on a desktop PC as a boot drive is a bad idea to begin with.

Still, it's worth giving Illumos and OpenIndiana a spin, if not to just see if it's more stable.

Now to figure out where to move my LeapFrog Connect app to. Maybe I'll use Kiki for this as well...

Besides the fact that Microsoft's cutting off extended support on XP in 2014 I think.

It still seems like yesterday when I first experienced Windows XP on Christmas Eve 2001. To me, it was a bold step ahead of our old OS, the buggy and unstable Windows ME.

We got our second Gateway desktop the August before, and we were eligible for a free upgrade to Windows XP. Naturally, I took advantage of that offer and we sent it off in September. We didn't get the upgrade discs in the mail until Christmas Eve of that year.

I recently had the funds to purchase some more apps for Heman, my little Android 4.0 tablet...

Amazing Alex, Cut The Rope, and Where's My Water?

All three are good games, but I should finish playing through Angry Birds first. I have made a serious attempt to try and play through the entire game as it stands, barring any future updates. However, if I come upon a level that makes me pull my hair out, I shall concentrate on the three games above.

Ah, Prudie. I was just about to ask you about how you are doing. I lately keep hearing news about my namesake storm over NYC, causing public transportation to be closed. I hope your family is well prepared.

I was just going to ask her the same question Sandy. Smile

We just had our first snowfall here last Thursday. Nothing much...just about 2 inches of snow, but that same system is probably the same one Hurricane Sandy will collide with.

And I just realized that Hurricane shares the same name as you Sandy.

In other news, it appears that Incapsula is gone, as the icon is not showing up on the forum pages, but I am still getting login errors with Safari v6. I can't even login at all! I attempt to log in, it says I successfully logged in, and then when it's supposed to take me to the main board, it dumps me back at the login screen! I even click on the "Board Index" link after it tells me that I am "logged in", but it still shows me as logged out whenever the main board index appears.

This has not happened to Chrome Mac at all.

I'm going to try and clear cookies in Safari later on, but right now, I'm in the middle of an intense Angry Birds session.

Every October 29th, Fake Halloween comes around, yet no one ever notices as they anticipate "Real Halloween" on the 31st.

Today, live life to the fullest and eat as much candy as you can stomach. Or pizza. Or any other treats.

That's good to hear. Smile

Well, the login problem still exists for me. I still need to use the test server to login without hassle.
