I read SOPA has been shelved, but they are still planning on debating PIPA.

SOPA's only been indefinitely shelved.

And then there's still PIPA, which is due for a hearing on the 24th.

I know about all the protests on SOPA and PIPA, but I still couldn't understand how both will affect us, until I read David's announcement.

If I had the power, I would veto both of them. But reality sucks, I only can pray.

As I said before, President Obama said he would veto SOPA. I don't doubt he would also veto PIPA. There is not enough support of either to overrule the president's decisions. But as I also stated before, he will not be president forever. This could start all over next year.

Hope he gets a second term then. I don't understand why people hate him. The excuses I heard so far are racist, which makes me sad.
