Well, for what it's worth, dozens of malware has sprung up since I last said that there were only 6 malware for the Mac. There are supposedly hundreds, but I say dozens because most of the numbers are clones of the Mac* fake antimalware package.
Anyone using a Mac, get an antivirus! You're no longer safe! If you can't afford any at least grab ClamXav or Sophos Antivirus Home Edition!
In the meantime, BingoBeaver is healthy again. His faulty RAM bar has been replaced, he has a USB3 SuperSpeed PCIe card added for those days (making him the important box when it comes to handling USB3 devices, just like how Kiki is now the important box for handling Thunderbolt devices), and surprisingly, the 4DXWave now works. The KVM is now connected to a PS/2 to USB keyboard/Mouse converter, and an additional PS/2 keyboard was added.
Now I just need to pick out an OS to replace Mac OS X Snow Leopard. I'm thinking of Illumos, but it apparently doesn't have USB3 support yet. Yet another Linux? I might go that route (have half the mind of dropping Slackware in, or maybe try Arch) or maybe even FreeBSD.

The Best Medicine > Magic. Because SCIENCE! can prove the former.
