I guess no one remembers the meme anymore. I was making a joke based on an old internet meme Tongue

Oh yeah, forgot about that...

In other news, I kinda got sick now. Not something severe, so there's nothing to worry about. Though the random diarrhea is pretty disturbing.

Must be the dreaded Travellers diarrhea.

BTW, where has Angel been? She hasn't posted here for awhile.

She's probably just busy. Hasn't been replying to me on Swapnote either, but I see her online every now and then. In fact, according to Isabelle, she's online right now, engaged deeply in a game of Animal Crossing New Leaf.

On the side note, paying premium for a ultraspeed 16GB Class-10 SDHC card paid off. Animal Crossing loads somewhat faster than before.

How much did that cost?

CRT on left, Anna-Lena on the right. In short, Anna-Lena is becoming an HD Game monitor for PS2 and above. The CRT is now my main set. More info in the Technology forum.

I normally don't have both sets on at the same time. That's overkill even for a dual setup like mine. What I intend on doing is placing one set (the CRT) in my main living room and Anna-Lena in the bedroom... when I finally get my apartment whenever that may be.

88 Malaysian Ringgits. Not cheap, but hey, at least there's a nice little speed boost. I just found out that Nintendo claims that the fastest the 3Ds could do is Class 6 and any higher would be locked at Class 6 speed tho. But hey, the only two speeds of SD card available in Malaysia are 4 and 10, and as long there is noticeable difference, then it's good.

That's almost $30 USD, but it was well worth the price. My fastest SD card is a Class 4 SanDisk, 8gb. I got it for my digital camera as it needs a class 4 or higher to record 720p HD video.

Perhaps I should get a class 6 card for my future Wii U. I do intend on getting the 32gb Deluxe Set, but I still want to have an SD card for more space.

I need one of these inexpensive video players to truly complete my entertainment setup. I'm relying more and more on digital files for video playback, and all this needs are external SD cards or USB sticks.

My current DVD player/USB only supports Divx AVI.

Media player boxes are so last decade over here. Android set top boxes, like one of those Modeo devices, are a better deal now. They're much better than simple media player boxes because they can also receive IPTV streams.

Began experimenting with stereoscopic photography. Turns out that a 3DS will obligingly co-operate with a PlayStation 3 and all 3D photos taken on the former will display in 3D on the latter if a suitable HD3D TV is available. Although, given that the camera has a rather low resolution...

I'm also able to get the pictures to show up in 3D on a PC, but only in greyscale red-blue.

I have seen those, but they cost a little bit more on eBay. I also have Daffodil too. She has HDMI out so if I ever get Netflix or anything, I could just use her. As it stands, I just need a simple little box that can play all kinds of video files off an SD card or USB stick directly to Nanouk or Anna-Lena... no real need for WiFi.

I also don't dabble much into IPTV. I mainly stream through YouTube and Blip. IPTV is very promising, but I think it still has a way to go if it wants to truly replace regular broadcast TV. Even then, it may not fully replace those older technologies since if there is an emergency that knocks out internet connections, there has to be fallback to get out emergency information.
