Why not? There's no loss and you can revisit the normal mode whenever you want.

Like the post title says, here are some things that I would want in the future, but don't have the funds to get.

Acer Smart Display: This is that Android "PC" that I brought up a few weeks ago. It's actually a "smart" computer monitor. It has a mini-HDMI input to connect to your PC or other HDMI device. Need to check out something on the internet without turning on your PC? Use the Smart Display's built in Android system. It's a novel concept, but it appears that stores such as HSN TV are trying to pass this off as a full fledged computer when it isn't. It would however make a great monitor for Lilly.

Acquire all the SSC 2003 DVDs: I have already started to gather the 2003 SSC DVD collection, but I still have a long way to go, and not enough funds to get any more at the present time.

Neo Geo X Gold System: I would love to have an actual Neo Geo AES, or get a consolized MVS, but these tend to go for a pretty penny. The Neo Geo X Gold system would be perfect for me, despite it's emulation issues. (the NGX is essentially a hacked up Dingoo with a version of the Final Burn Alpha emulator)

Different Computer Desk: I need a different computer desk so I can more efficently use Lilly and Greta. I also need a new office chair too. Tongue

Finding a real world job... Yeah, I need a job since my schooling ends on the 27th, and I graduate for a two year Computer Technology degree in August. Problem is, there is hardly a computer job in my small town, so I may have to go into a non-computer field for employment. Good thing is, I may be getting a job soon. Smile

With this, you can have SSC on your TV, all the time! Even when the show isn't on the air!! Brilliant!

Yes, unfortunately, it has two fatal flaws:
1. It's NTSC only. Malaysia? Screwed over. US now that NTSC has mostly ceased broadcast? Screwed over.
2. It has the reliability of a lemon (according to Amazon).

Additionally, it does not support HD3D.

And oh, CRT. Last thing I want is Samara crawling out of it (remember that this is the main reason I totally ditched CRT, in addition to the fact that CRTs actually emit small doses of X-ray, and I think also miniscule amounts of gamma rays).

CRTs can also be quite dangerous if you try to tinker wit it, lol.

Remember... The Ring is just a fictional movie. Nothing can crawl out of a CRT in real life because it simply is not possible for a thing like that to happen... unless if it's in a movie like The Ring.

See? Movies can bend the rules of physics and science for entertainment. It's called "Hollywood Science".

Here is one thing about CRT's that HDTVs can never do... play original SNES/NES/Genesis games in their intended format. HDTVs scale up the 240p graphics making them look ugly. They also induce input lag too. Luckily, Anna-Lena's input lag is very minimal, so minimal I can adapt to it, but the graphics still get upscaled. A CRT like the one I just got is perfect for these games.

I was just going to go flat-panel only, but I found how CRTs can make my old games look great again. I may even save Anna-Lena for HD content only (Blu-Ray, Wii U, etc), but undecided yet.

Never mind, all good. Package arrived 6 days late...

As for LCD, I have used one of those handheld portable LCD TVs with an NES in the past. No problems there Tongue
