Spam email
#1
Today I found a spam email in my inbox, and it came from my father's address. The spam mail is also sent to his whole contacts in his address book. Does this mean his account has been compromised or something? What should be done to overcome this?

It does sounds like his account has been compromised. The logical thing to do is to ask him to change his password.

Yep, Dave's right about your dad's account being compromised. I've been receiving similar stuff from some of my friends' accounts, and even ended up having some of my addresses hacked, sending pill/Viagra spam to my buddies without me knowing it.

Yes, and your father should also alert his email provider about the situation.
