I have good and bad news as well.

Personally, I don't care about aesthetics unless they have to do with things like personal appearance. I'd take the DVDs without their colors. On the other hand, I know a lot of collectors would never do that.

She has Berry Brick Road? Which country is she from? The DVD hasn't been released in the US and UK yet. Apparently it has been released in only exactly two countries to date: The Philippines and South Africa.

Go for it! There's no telling when you'll get another chance.
For the record, I threw away* all my DVD cases and put them into a DVD pouch, which has Strawberry Shortcake cover image on it. *Not to the trash, just somewhere in my messed up room.

I've already mentioned it in my opening post. However I'd like to check it out - maybe there's some trick about it, like they released the episodes only, without the opening & closing scenes. Though I don't think so. I don't know how they managed to release it after all. Maybe I'll try to ask them in e-mail, just for curiosity. I think I'm going to ask the woman to look for the lost DVD cases again, but I'll accept the DVDs without them after all.

How lucky was I, guys! Tuesday I went to buy some foodstuff in the (relatively) small LIDL supermarket. Whenever I go there, I check out the DVDs, maybe I find some Strawberry Shortcake. Though I was living with this habit for the last 1 or 2 months, I never succeeded. But I was suspecting that someday I will possibly find SSC DVDs there, because I've seen other random DVDs from Mirax - the publisher which releases SSC DVDs here. And 2 days ago, finally I've really found some SSC DVDs.
The only inconvenience that they put all the random DVDs in one large basket, you have to rummage to find DVDs you are looking for. Even though I always try to dig enough to get sure if there are SSC DVDs, it is easy to miss them in the chaos. Maybe I've already missed some chances earlier, simply because I couldn't find the DVDs those were there. This time, I went to the basket 3 times to get sure, and I couldn't find the DVDs the first 2 times. But 3rd time I found 2 different SSC DVDs at the bottom of the basket. I had to dig for minutes to get to them, and it was really a luck that I noticed them at all. It was also luck that I didn't have those 2 DVDs before. The new DVDs I acquired: Berry Fairy Tales Berry Blossom Festival And of course I have all the DVDs I was previously talking about, so now I have 11 SSC DVDs altogether... WOW, I already have the half of all. hock:
