This is starting to get to me.

I just realize that Friendship is Magic has a three-letter acronym of "FIM".

At three in the morning last night, it just crossed my mind that FIM could also mean "Fluttershy is Madeline".

Not being able to sleep, I started sorting through the parts attained for Helen's rebuild.

Then I noticed that one of the boxes came from a shop called "The Hub".

I feel mocked :/

TV Tropes says Shiny Midnight Black (hair) makes for the natural personality opposite of the White Haired Pretty Boy or White Haired Pretty Girl.

So I'm Ben's natural personality opposite.

Yeah, right. Counterpart and at times contrast, yes. Opposite, no.

Jackfruit Jam and Pomegranate Parfait are natural opposites, too. That I can see more readily. Grapes/me and daughters aren't the opposites of Pie Man/Ben and daughter, though.

Jack and Pom-pon, however, remind me more of yin-yang, even though yin is supposed to be female and yang is supposed to be male. There's a bit of yin-yang to their parents and Grapes' daughters, as well. Jack and Pom-pon are, in a sense, continuers of the boy's mother and the girl's father in regards to the siblings' yin-yang, respectively. I like the gender flip. The gender flip is cute for no particular reason.

Oho, and Pom-pon is also Blackberry's "opposite" person.

Why the nickname? Pigtails are nature's pom-pons!

Finally got TF2 downloaded. The Internet connection apparently hiccuped suddenly and gave me a nice speed boost for a few minutes.

Then it hiccuped again just as I was about to complete the download. I spent an hour downloading the last 400 megabytes of the thing.

Made a backup of the installation file onto my USB hard disk. I'll be throwing another tantrum if this gets wiped out. It was total hell to download.

It's also making me think twice of getting games off it. But then, while GTAIV is cheaper on DVD, DNF and Portal 2 isn't

Actually, tho, I just realized that GTAIV is more expensive on DVD too- At the price of GTAIV alone on DVD, I can get the trilogy off Steam :/

Not to mention I absolutely hate the traffic and parking in that area where the only good games store is.

Well at least you got that game sorted out. Like what I told you yesterday on IM, the latest IV patch can be a PITA due to inefficient shadow and shader code, but I guess that won't be much of a problem when you have sufficiently powerful hardware.

Agreed. Although I still think what I went through was hell. Still, it's worth it. Now if only the darn game could find a good online server to link to. So far I'm only playing it offline...

Who are you playing as? I mostly go mowing down opponents as a Heavy, although I tried a few other classes like the Scout who's a tad too fast for my skills.
