I guess we might as well switch to a new host some time. Chris told me that he's planning to dedicate his web space to TGTAP and the recent downtime problems kept him and us from enjoying the sites.

The domain name will still be kept as it is, but the host isn't. He did recommend this, though:

The issue would be funding and advertisements. We can go with donations and advertising, but I'm not really that sure on how that would bode with us.

I'm alright with ads here, but as long as they aren't the annoying type (pop-ups, auto-expanding banners, etc). But, we should consider donations before resorting to ads.

Hmmm... How about this. Namecheap also offers hosting packages, and it's US$3.45 a month cheapest. Since I'm already taking the domain name from them, might as well. I might even donate the hosting in full as well. 3.45 isn't too much. Although I'm wondering If 25GB is enough.

However, if it becomes even more of a burden, I may also consider ads. And yes, I will try to make it so only static jpeg image ads appear.

Adsense seems legit. As long as it doesn't show ads like "Google paid me over $9000" or something that's similarly fraudulent or malicious, I'm on it. 25GB seems ample, considering that we're actually living on a 2GB server.

I just want to say that I'll leave everything to you all who know more than me on this matter. Though I agree that if we eventually have to have ads, they better never be the annoying popup type and quota-eating animation type (I hated Travian ads because of that).

Well, I see that Google allows me to restrict ads down to the most minimal- text only. I wonder if we can try using that combined with per-display payment (CPM) instead.

Greta needs more RAM. 4gb won't cut it when editing videos with Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0.

Thankfully, Greta can support up to 8gb... she will FLY with that amount of RAM!!

I plan on ordering new RAM from Crucial as soon as funds allow.

Only way I will upgrade to the Wii U is if they cut off Shop Channel for older Wii systems like Elsie. That's forced upgrading at it's finest people.
